The ECM PRO boasts a ruler-flat frequency response spanning from 20 Hz to 30 kHz. This wide range ensures that it captures sound accurately across the entire spectrum.

 

The microphone’s omnidirectional pickup pattern means it captures sound from all directions. This feature is particularly useful for assessing room acoustics, as it provides an unbiased reading of the environment.

 

Like most condenser microphones used for recording or live performances, the ECM PRO requires phantom power. Supply it with +9 to +52 V to unleash its capabilities.
